Bernard Tomic's girlfriend, influencer and OnlyFans star Vanessa Sierra, has issued a call for calm after getting slated in the comments section of a video she posted to her social media account.

Vanessa and Bernard have been forced to spend time in hotel quarantine ahead of the Australian Open to ensure they don't have the coronavirus.

They've been documenting how they're passing the time, with Sierra complaining about how boring it was and that she hasn't been able to properly wash her hair.

"This is the worst part of quarantine: I don't wash my own hair. I've never washed my own hair. It's just not something that I do. I normally have hairdressers that do it twice a week for me, so this is the situation that we're dealing with," Sierra said.

Social media users were quick to get their thoughts out on Sierra's 'struggles', with one user commenting: "Ahh the struggles of being a millionaire in quarantine..."

Another joked: "Can we get some type of Big Brother live stream situation in the Tomic room? Would watch him and his girlfriend, Vanessa 'I don't wash my own hair' Sierra, for two weeks straight."

Aussie tennis star Nick Kyrgios even threw his two cents in, writing on Twitter: "I don't mind Bernie but his Mrs obviously has no perspective, ridiculous scenes."

Sierra has since fired back at the backlash, insisting she was misrepresented and commented on her recent charity efforts.

"You guys are the true definitions of class clowns on a witch hunt and if I want to laugh about how bad my hair is in quarantine I unapologetically will. Have a cry," she posted on her Instagram story on Monday night.

She then alleged that she had been receiving death threats since the original video.

"I didn't realise how many idiots are in the world," she wrote, before thanking others for their support.

Among other complaints made by Sierra included that the 'food is s**t', that nobody had cleaned their room, that they didn't get fresh sheets, and they were forced to wash their plates in the bathroom sink.

She added that both of Tomic's scheduled training sessions had been cancelled 'last minute'.

"The point of the bubble is you're supposed to stay in the hotel room, during the day you're allowed out to the training site, to the gym...but there were a couple of positive COVID-19 cases on a couple of the planes and that's pretty much delayed everything," Sierra said.

"It's really frustrating because we're stuck in this room with no air, no training.

"A lot of people are saying 'it was your choice to travel and that's why you're in quarantine'; well we had to leave Australia to do the qualifying match, to play in the Australian Open."
