Mark Smith has already received one bid for the alcoholic relic.

A man in Western Australia has come across an incredible find while metal detecting along a beach.

While some people hope to find diamond rings or expensive watches, Mark Smith something else more appealing at Carnarvon, which is roughly 900 kilometres north of Perth.

Mr Smith has been metal detecting for 20 years, according to Perth Now, and he's unearthed plenty of things in his time.

But few compared to discovering a six-pack of Emu Export that is around 32 years old.

Thankfully, he didn't need to do much digging at One Mile Jetty.

Mark Smith

He's told Perth Now: "I was just metal detecting and looking for pennies when I saw one of the cans partially exposed in the sand. It wasn't opened so I picked it up and saw it was a six pack.

"They've been buried under the sand for over 20 years. They are empty but still in good nick attached to each other."

That's devastating he wasn't able to chuck them in the fridge and crack open a cold one to see what it tastes like. Although, we fear it might have gone out of date just a little.

While they might be empty, they're still relics of the past and he reckons he could get a pretty penny from them.

Mark said he's already received a bid from his neighbour to slot them in his man cave. But who knows how much he'd be able to flog them for.

But if you thought that was impressive, wait till you see the Emu Export Christmas tree.

A bloke, who has the nickname Mad Bogan, constructed this impressive, six-metre tall tree last year primarily using empty beer cans.

Wes Boyd reconstructed his incredible Coca-Cola can tree he made, but this time with around 1,500 empty cans of Emu Export.

That's a hell of a lot of beer, but he didn't have one sip. Instead, he left all the drinking to his pals and they kindly donated the trophies so that Mad Bogan could create the most Australian looking tree in existence.

While that sounds like a fairly insurmountable task, Wes' mates managed to sink enough Bush Chook in time and they helped finish the construction in just a week.

He simply placed the beer cans on the outside rim left from the Coca-Cola tree, however this presented a new problem: it was bloody heavy.

Wes decided to get a cherry picker in to help him put the finishing touches on the tree, which includes a huge light that illuminates from the top. Once he was happy with the result, he got to stand back and admire his and his mate's hard work.
