Bundaberg is finally doing an alcoholic version of its iconic ginger beer and it's truly a match made in heaven.

People all across Australia have slurped down the stunning ginger beer from the amber bottle for decades now and everyone has wondered when the company will up the ante and throw in a bit of sauce.

Well, that question has finally been answered.

Bundaberg Distilling Company and Bundaberg Ginger Beer have come together to launch a beautiful collaboration that will drop next month.

According to a press release, the delicious drink 'has been skilfully crafted by locals with real flavour-packed ingredients'.

It's brewed in Queensland's Bundaberg for 'three days' with 'locally grown fresh ginger and freshly cut white Queensland cane spirit' that promises a 'zesty ginger bite and refreshing taste'.

They've even kept the stunning tradition of flipping the can before you tuck into it to ensure all the flavours are unlocked.

Bundaberg Distilling Company Marketing & Experience Manager, Duncan Littler, said in a statement: "We are so excited about working with Bundaberg Ginger Beer to bring their delicious, market leading non-alcoholic ginger beer to a new category.

"Nobody is better placed than two local Aussie icons to introduce the best Alcoholic Ginger Beer."

Bundaberg Ginger Beer CEO, John McLean, added: "We have a long history of sharing drinks with our great mates at Bundaberg Distilling Company, so we are thrilled to be collaborating with them on creating an alcoholic version of Australia's favourite Ginger Beer.

"We believe our 53-year history of brewing, paired with Bundaberg Distilling Company's 133-years of distilling is a match made in flavour heaven."

They'll get grog shops from next month and a four pack will set you back $21.99.
