The butcher might have been in Albury, but they were slinging out Wodongas for the big day.

With every trip around the Sun, our beautiful planet arrives on the middle of February with a lot of expectations.

Love is in the air, roses are being flogged at every corner, couples are giving each other cute cards and presents, and single people are hopefully not too lonely.

Valentine's Day is one hell of a day for people and regardless of how you spent it, we can all agree the team at Borella Butchery in Albury, New South Wales had the last laugh with their promotion for February 14.

TAG A MATE who could use one of these! WE WILL GIVEAWAY 4 OF THESE AMAZING MEAT TRAYS, LIKE TAG & SHARE Valetines...

They uploaded their V Day meat sale to Facebook and it included a small sausage, two meat patties and bit of green garnish to boot.

While that doesn't sound worthy enough for a news article, the presentation of the meat was spectacular as it looked an awful lot like the male anatomy.

After they chucked up their picture to social media, people went absolutely wild for it.

One person wrote: "Thanks for your great sense of humour from the land down under. What a hoot....Nothing like a good butcher for all the MEAT."

Another added: "This is amazing!!! Thank you so much for doing this and posting it for everyone."

A third said: "That's cheap as too! What a legend. Not a lot of butchers give good value like that."

Everyone was loving the idea that the cheeky Aussie spirit is alive and well in Albury.

While people were having a laugh down on the NSW-Victoria border, the same couldn't be said for a bloke in America who had an awkward run-in with his girlfriend on the big day of love.

TikTok user Gloria (who uses the handle @gr93la) decided to use the to score some petty points.

She uploaded a video to her account, where she said: "Since everyone is sharing what they got their significant other for Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share mine.

"I got my husband this cute little box and filled it with pictures of all the girls that he's been liking on Instagram. Hope he likes it!"

Gloria shows herself taping the photos to small wooden skewers, which she then sticks into a block to create the display of attractive, smiling women.

Fellow TikTok users absolutely loved the hilarious clip, with one person commenting: "It's barely February 2021 girl can we hand you the best wife trophy this year."
