Cadbury Unveils A Literal Slab Of Caramilk Chocolate In Australia For The First Time

There's no denying Cadbury Caramilk is a gift from the culinary gods and we are all thankful for the offering.

The delicious and heavenly caramelised white chocolate was incredibly popular in Australia when it returned back in October 2019.

People were buying multiple packets of the golden choccy and it seemed like there was never enough to satisfy the hunger.

To remedy that situation, Cadbury has decided to up the ante by offering a 315g slab of the product for the first time in Australia.

Eagle-eyed shopped have noticed the much larger blocks over the past weeks and social media has been alight with buzz about the new offering.

People called it 'dangerous' and there were plenty of 'omggggg' comments when one shopper uploaded a picture of the huge block.

One person said: "Forget the regular blocks! I'm getting you these from now on."

Another added: "Oh dear lordddyyy."

A third wrote: "I saw this and died and this is bad because we will smash the whole thing."

The family block of Caramilk is usually $5 for 180g of the good stuff, but this new mega-block is only $6 for the 315 grams.

A Cadbury spokesperson told news.com.au: "The newest block began to hit shelves in early-April and is available at Woolworths. Cadbury Caramilk is one of Australia's most loved chocolates due to the heavenly caramelised white chocolate."

This comes hot off the back of Cadbury releasing a delicious duet in the form of a block of Caramilk and Marble chocolate.

The new block will have the caramelised white choccy flavour on the outside and the incredible hazelnut praline tase on the inside.

Katrina Watson, senior marketing manager for Cadbury, told news.com.au: "Cadbury Caramilk and Cadbury Dairy Milk Marble are two of our cult favourites, so combining them both to create a new taste experience is sure to excite chocolate lovers across the country.

"Our chocolate makers have been so excited to work on combining two of our most iconic flavours. We can't wait to see how Cadbury fans respond when it lands on shelves."
