Cadbury's Caramilk Hokey Pokey Has Quietly Arrived In Australia

The price for a block of this deliciousness is eye-watering.

People went absolutely and understandably nuts when Cadbury announced a new type of Caramilk chocolate was coming to New Zealand.

Dubbed Hokey Pokey, the Caramilk twist is the choccy you already know and love but with golden honeycomb pieces mixed throughout.

Honestly, sounds like heaven.

But, it was only available across the Tasman and Australians were left screaming about when it could land here.

Well, it seems like that day has come. You'd think that Cadbury would make a big song and dance about the new type of chocolate being introduced to Australia but it appears to have been released very quietly.

People have been posting pictures of their Hokey Pokey bars in Australia and say it's absolutely delicious.

It doesn't look like the product has had a hard launch in Australia and individual stores and retailers have either imported it from New Zealand or they have made a deal with the devil to somehow get them.

But you might be taken aback by the price tag associated. People have been seeing these bad boys being sold for as high as $7.80, which is bloody steep. Can you really put a price on deliciousness?

Cadbury could be gearing up for a proper launch later, if their marketing manager is anyone to go by.

Cadbury's Kate Watson told news.com.au in June: "We're excited to confirm that we are launching Caramilk Hokey Pokey in New Zealand this year. The combination of Cadbury Caramilk and Hokey Pokey brings together two iconic Kiwi flavours in the one delicious Cadbury block.

"While Caramilk Hokey Pokey won't be launching in Australia this year, we'd love to hear if it's a flavour combo Aussie Caramilk fans would like to see us launch in future. In the meantime, we'll have some good news to share with Cadbury Caramilk fans in Australia very soon."

Looks like we'll have to hold our breaths until we get to see Caramilk Hokey Pokey in every supermarket, servo and convenience store across the country.
