Depending on the sport, the Olympics can be an incredibly difficult job for a camera operator.
They have to catch every stroke, swipe, hit, miss and follow the ball wherever it goes.
You also have to catch everything that is happening away from the action in case it produces a stunning Olympics moment.

That's seemingly what one operator did during the women's hockey match between Spain and Argentina.
Whoever was behind the mammoth task of following the two sides decided that there was something else on the field that was worthy of international attention.
The Argentinian TV channel broadcasting the Tokyo Games for its people showed a cockroach walking along part of the field as a replay of a shot was being played.

Clearly, the roach was far more important than the replay as the camera operator hovered on the insect for a couple of seconds.
The moment has quickly gone viral on social media.
It wasn't long before the camera operator got back to the action and showed all the glory of the Spain vs Argentina match.

The South American country was too strong for their Spanish counterparts and the athletes dominated the field. They ended up winning 3-0 and will take on host country Japan in their next Group B match.
Australia is also in the same group and have so far beaten Spain 3-1, smashed China 6-0 and defeated Japan in a nail-biting 1-0 victory.
The Trans-Tasman battle between Australia and New Zealand will kick off tonight (July 29).
