The ABC's Mad As Hell sent social media into a tizzy this week when Shaun Micallef's interview was interrupted.
He was in the middle of chatting to comedian Francis Greenslade, who was in character as defamation expert 'Plonk McGrundle'. They hilariously included loads of bleeps during the chat as a joke about how everyone is getting sued for defamation at the moment.
But just as Micallef asked a question about the ABC's rules about censorship, an actor burst through the door and told them to wrap it up because ABC chair Ita Buttrose 'wants to wind the segment up now'.

While that might not sound very shocking, the bloke was fully naked.
Viewers at home copped a full frontal sausage and it wasn't even 9:30pm. Naturally, social media went up in flames and people couldn't believe what they were seeing.
However, it was to be expected that there would be some people in the community wh would not be happy about this editorial decision.

Conservative Christian organisation FamilyVoice is understandably furious at the penis and believes the national broadcaster is absolutely 'morally bankrupt'.
A statement from the group said: "The TV show Shaun Micallef's Mad as Hell surprised viewers last night with a glimpse of male nudity.
"Despite the episode's rating as M, with a warning for coarse language and nudity, it does nothing for families with children watching the show in good faith and expecting a standard of viewing that is acceptable to all mum and dads."
Strange that a programme warns viewers about nudity and then...shows nudity.

People also found it funny that the FamilyVoice statement gave a time stamp of the exact moment the penis made an appearance, meaning everyone will now know where to skip to on iView.
Shaun has responded to the Christian outburst on Twitter saying: "Frankly, I agree with them."
According to the ABC's policy on programme ratings, when something gets an M classification it only permits nudity when it doesn't 'contain a lot of detail or be prolonged'. Considering the flashing lasted all of a few seconds, the ABC is well within its rights to do it.
Interestingly, the show did this exact thing back in 2018 and the ABC also showed a penis in an episode of MotherFatherSon. It's a penis, relax.
