Eve Black, a Victorian woman who went viral for posting a video of her challenging a police officer at a checkpoint, has been arrested.

The woman has labelled the coronavirus pandemic a 'SCAMdemic' and was proud to show off her efforts to get through checkpoints without giving over her personal information.

After trying to get through another checkpoint, things didn't go the same way. Victoria Police have released a statement, saying the 28-year-old pulled the same tactic as her previous stunt by refusing to wind down her window.

"The woman was intercepted on Princes St as police wanted to speak to her following an incident at a vehicle checkpoint in Bunyip on 23 July," the statement said.

"Upon being intercepted, she was asked to provide her name and address which she refused to do. Police then directed her to produce her driver's license and explain her reason for travel, which she also refused to comply with.

"This led to police arresting her. During the arrest, police were forced to break the woman's car window as she refused to speak to them, wind down her window, or step out of the vehicle.

"The woman has been released pending summons for traffic-related offences, failing to produce a license, failing to produce name and address, and breaches of the Chief Health Officer's directives."

Eve Black hit headlines last week when a video of her appeared to show her ignoring the current rules in place as she refused to give her details to a cop. In the clip, Black ignored the officer's questions and instead said: "Have I disturbed the peace today?"

The officer replied: "No. I just asked what your reason for leaving today is."

Black then attempted to explain to the officer that she isn't required to tell him where she is going because she doesn't know who he is.

When she's questioned further she said several times: "Have I committed a crime?"

Eventually, the police officer waved her through and allowed her to proceed without any information.

Sharing the video, Black wrote: "It's a SCAMdemic. You're being taken advantage of by a system designed to fail you. And they've done such a good job, that you don't even see it."

The clip sparked outrage with many calling on Black to be arrested for her actions. Premier Daniel Andrews promised that police would be tracking her down and she should expect a knock at the door.
