Tsuyoshi and Tomi Seki have attracted a massive social media following for wearing matching outfits.

Affectionately known as Bon and Pon, the pair wow their more than 830,000 followers with their adorably similar styles.

It all started around half a decade ago when the Japanese couple, who have been married for 41 years, posed for a photo for their daughter's Instagram.

Their cute photo in matching clothes racked up loads of likes and comments and Bon and Pon's daughter told them they should start their own account.

According to the Guardian, they've always had similar styles in their wardrobe, however their online infamy pushed them to coordinate more.

Some of their outfits are subtly similar, with hints of the same pattern or material noticeable, whereas in others they literally look like twins.

Tomi told the news outlet: "Of course we're happy to be described as style icons in the media, but that's not really how we see ourselves. We wear simple, inexpensive clothes that anyone can buy.

"Now we're on our own and finally have the time to do all the things we didn't have the time to do when we were raising a family and working.

"We want to show that retirement can be a lot of fun, especially if you find something you enjoy doing together."

Tomi said she's overwhelmed with all the comments their Instagram photos attract and admits she often doesn't understand what many are saying. But she loves the sentiment all the same.

They've been labelled 'relationship goals' by people all over the world, with many aspiring to be this matchy-matchy with their significant other.

Bon and Pon have racked up such a following that they've teamed up with a designer to release a clothing range that encapsulates their simplicity and gendered coordination.

But Tomi told Buzzfeed News that they haven't always dressed the same in their many years together.

"When I was young, I found matching styles embarrassing, but at this age, I no longer feel ashamed," she said.

"We decide based on how we feel each day. We like monotones, red and blue, so inevitably we decide on colors we both like."

She explained that Tsuyoshi used to work from very early in the morning until after midnight and therefore they didn't get to spend much time together.

In retirement however, they're able to make up for lost time and everyone on the internet is absolutely obsessed with their looks.
