The UK Prime Minister's controversial chief adviser Dominic Cummings is leaving the government.

It's expected he will be out of the job by Christmas, a source told the BBC.

Cummings gained headlines around the world when he was caught flaunting social distancing restrictions and said it was to test his eyesight.

He said that he is sticking to his plan he made earlier in the year, which was to be 'largely redundant' by the end of 2020.
