Fast food empires launch competitions all the time and we can't tell you how many times we've missed out.

Domino's Australia is joining the pack and it's fairly niche, but if you win, the reward is pretty juicy.

If you're named Dominic or Dominique then you have a chance at winning 60 (yes, sixty) years' worth of free pizza.

To put that in perspective, the winning Dom could have a pizza every month until 2080 or 720 nights where they don't have to cook.

The fine print specifies the person named Dom has to be a baby and the winning family will receive the prize. The Dom baby also has to be born on Wednesday December 9 as it aligns with Domino's 60th birthday. We warned you it was niche.

Domino's Australia and New Zealand CEO Nick Knight said the competition will only apply to a few people but that lucky winner will be rejoicing when they get 60 years' worth of free food.

"We have been blessed with 60 incredible years as a company, with 37 of those here in Australia," he said.

"We wouldn't be celebrating this milestone without the support of our amazing customers and their faith in us to continue delivering delicious meals for great value.

"What better way for our Domino's family to mark this occasion and to share the joy of the next 60 years than with a truly unique birthday gift for someone's own bundle of joy - from our family to yours!

"After all, nothing brings people closer like pizza... and the arrival of a new baby."

All you have to do to enter the competition is confirm you have a baby named Dominic or Dominique by emailing [email protected]. You'll need to send Domino's a copy of the child's birth certificate for verification at a later stage.

Domino's will the pick a winner from the eligible babies. Simple.
