Elon Musk Promises To Give Twitter To MrBeast If He 'Mysteriously' Dies

Elon Musk Promises To Give Twitter To MrBeast If He 'Mysteriously' Dies

The YouTube sensation took Musk's cryptic tweet as an opportunity to potentially take control of the social media giant.

Elon Musk was at it again yesterday causing a raucous over on Twitter with a cryptic tweet about his potential death.

The Tesla CEO posted: “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya.”

While none of us are wishing the death of any circumstance onto the SpaceX founder, one man who may benefit if Musk does go missing is YouTuber MrBeast.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson and is best known for his expensive stunts and dramatic YouTube content, took Musk’s tweet as an opportunity to ask for a favour.

He replied to Musk’s conspicuous tweet, saying: “If that happens can I have Twitter?”

Musk simply replied: “Ok.”

Consider it a done deal then, MrBeast may very well be the next owner of the social media juggernaut.

Musk recently made headlines for shelling out a massive $44 billion (AUD$62 billion, £33.3 billion) for Twitter, and earlier in the year for challenging Putin to a fistfight with the winner claiming Ukraine as the prize.

It seems his antics toward Russia may actually be a contributing factor behind Musk’s cryptic tweet about his death.

Roscosmos boss and ex-head of Russia's defence forces Dmitry Rogozin issued Russian media with a statement, making Musk an enemy of the state.

According to a post on Musk’s Twitter account, the statement reads: "Starlink satellite company Elon Musk was delivered to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion and the Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Mariupol by military helicopters.

"According to our information, the delivery and transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine of PO boxes for receiving and transmitting the Internet from Starlink carried out by the Pentagon.

"Elon Musk is thus involved in the supply of fascist forces in Ukraine with military communications. And for this you will have to answer in an adult way, Elon, no matter how you turn on the fool."

The 50-year-old billionaire’s antics were bound to land him in hot water someday, however, let’s hope his good deed in helping Ukraine doesn’t spell his end.

If it does, however, Twitter may be in good hands with MrBeast, who has essentially already taken over the world with his 95 million YouTube subscribers.

MrBeast attempted to ensure the deal would definitely go through in the event of Musk’s untimely death.

He tweeted a screenshot of the exchange, with a caption reading: “No takesies backsies”.

‘No takesies backsies’ is essentially legally binding.
