A homeless man in the US has gone viral for his brutal takedown of an anti-vaccine activist.

Footage posted on social media shows the woman preaching during a tiny protest about the coronavirus and how people should steer clear of the recommended, safe and approved vaccines.

The lead demonstrator walking down Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles yelled: "Do you see all of these homeless people around? Are they dead in the streets with Covid? Hell no! Why?"

The person was presumably attempting to cast doubt on Covid-19's transmission effectiveness by suggesting homeless people should all have the virus because of their living situation and access to healthcare.

However, one man who was pushing a shopping trolley yelled back and it shut the whole argument down.

"Because I'm vaccinated, you dumb f***!" he said.

The moment was shared on Twitter, where people have commended the bloke in tearing down the protestor's ignorant claims.

Reacting to the clip, one person said: "Alexa, show me someone that has never in their life thought about the possibility that homeless people are intelligent, capable, and, most importantly, paying attention."

Another added: "I just love how they use the fact that they are not knee deep in dead bodies to disprove COVID."

A third said: "The privilege, ignorance, and assumptions they make about the homeless community are repulsive."

The person who posted the clip went on a mission to try and find the man responsible for the hilarious takedown.

After scouring the streets of Los Angeles, the bloke managed to locate the homeless individual, who is called Ray and is originally from Denver.

The Twitter user is trying to set up a way for people to donate to Ray and help him while he's on the streets.

The takedown is a reminder of how some anti-vaxxers can be beaten in an argument with just a tiny, simple shred of real information.

The three approved vaccines in the US, Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson, are free for every single American citizen regardless of their healthcare or income status.

Authorities have made it free so that everyone can get access to it and so that survival in the pandemic doesn't end up being a game of rich versus poor.
