Jetstar is taking advantage of the newly opened trans-Tasman bubble by launching a massive sale.

Dubbed the 'Limited Time Only' sale, the airline will be slinging flights from Australian cities to New Zealand for peanuts.

The cheapest appears to be the Gold Coast (Coolangatta) to Auckland or Wellington for just $175 one-way. That is an absolute steal.

You can also get flights from Melbourne to Auckland or Christchurch for $195 and Melbourne or Sydney to Queenstown for $225, as well as a bunch of others to New Zealand.

If you're not a big fan of heading overseas just yet then Jetstar also has loads of flights in the sale that are just as juicy. You can fly from Sydney to Hamilton Island or Uluru for as low as $99 one-way, or maybe to Perth for $159.

Passengers can travel from Brisbane to Launceston for $89, Hobart to Sydney for $69, Melbourne to Sydney for $49, Adelaide to the Gold Coast for $79 or Launceston to Melbourne for $49.

Alan McIntyre, Chief Customer Officer at Jetstar Airways said in a statement: "We are extremely fortunate to have some of the world's most diverse attractions right here on our doorstep. And we're excited to be working with local artists to showcase their backyards and inspire more people to get out and explore more of Australia and New Zealand."

There are 250,000 seats up for offer under the sale, which begins at 9am today (April 23) and will finish on April 26 unless all the seats are already sold.

Some of the routes have to be bought for the periods of early-May to late-June 2021, mid-July to mid-September 2021 and early-October to late-January 2022.

So if you're keen on getting out and about later this year then you'll need to be quick with your fingers as these seats won't last long.
