A trusty police dog has helped officers nab a hell of a lot of drugs in a single bust.

The German shepherd named Titan did a routine check of a vehicle that was pulled over in Hernando County, Florida.

As the K-9 was brought in, two people inside the car reportedly started showing 'overtly nervous behaviours'. Titan did some sniffing and quickly found something he believed was nefarious.

After indicating to his handlers that they look in one section of the car, cops found loads of small bags of MDMA pills. After counting them individually, they found the bag contained 907 ecstasy pills.

Patrick Allen, 31, and Jelani Burwell, 38, were arrested and taken to the Hernando County Jail.

They face charges of trafficking synthetic drugs, possession of drugs with intent to distribute, illegal use of a vehicle to traffic drugs and other possession charges.

No doubt Titan got loads of pats and doggy treats at the end of that day at the office.

It's hard to estimate the street value of nearly 1,000 pills, but dealers could get roughly between $13,600 and $22,600 for that whole lot.

K-9's are incredibly useful in the fight against drugs and Florida police know that all too well after one of their pooch troopers managed to find a bag full of drugs inside a bag labelled 'Bag Full of Drugs'.

A Florida Highway Patrol trooper reportedly detected a car travelling 25 miles per hour over the speed limit in Santa Rosa County in February.

They pulled the vehicle over and a K-9 dog alerted the trooper to the presence of drugs.

It was at that this moment that police will allege they found a bag that read 'Bag Full of Drugs' literally contained a bunch of narcotics.

While some people might label this as stupid, you could also argue that the 'hiding in plain sight' strategy isn't a bad idea. Surely no one would actually put a load of drugs inside a bag advertised as such: "No officer, this is just my keep cup, my house keys and a Harry Potter book."

Police allegedly seized meth, GHB, cocaine, MDMA and fentanyl inside the 'Bag Full Of Drugs', which is no small haul.
