Cheese and chicken lovers will be rejoicing in Australia today as KFC announces the return of a fan favourite.
The legendary Zinger Mozzarella Burger will be coming back to menus around the country from today.
The meal first debuted in 2017 and the cheesy, stringy burger quickly became a loved addition. Sadly for many, KFC Australia couldn't keep it on the list forever and it faded into just a memory.

Thankfully, the chicken gods have shined a light on Australia during its difficult time and have thrown us a cheesy bone.
KFC Australia's CMO Kristi Woolrych said : "We're excited to bring back the Zinger Mozzarella Burger after it rose to fame during 2017.
"The Zinger Mozzarella is the burger for all the cheese lovers out there and a level up on our classic Zinger Burger, so we know fans will go wild for it again. During the chillier months the Zinger Mozzarella is the perfect."

The burger has a delicious Zinger coated and fried patty of mozzarella that will cause cheese strings for metres when you bite into it. It also has crispy bacon and lettuce, and it's topped with tangy tomato sauce and mayo.
The sad part about this incredible announcement is that it's not going to be a permanent addition to the KFC Australia menu.
It will be available from today (Tuesday August 11) until Monday 7 September. So you only have a few more weeks to soak up this deliciousness before it's gone. Will it be gone for good or will it poke its head around again in 2023? Who knows, but do you want to risk missing out?
Yeah, didn't think so.
