Kmart Has Launched Some Fancy Outdoor Furniture Just In Time For The Sunshine

Spring has definitely sprung by now across Australia and most of us will be wanting to spend more time outside.

If that means heading to the beach or your humble backyard (Melburnians know what I'm talking about), some will be looking for any excuse to get outdoors.

But, if you're hosting a cheeky little soiree at your place and realise that the furniture is a little dated then you can always look at Kmart for some options. The retailer has launched a new line of outdoor items that you can only order online.

The range officially debuted yesterday (Wednesday October 14) on the company's website and people have been lapping up all the chairs, tables and side pieces.

There are 17 pieces to choose from and in addition to all the usual stuff, you can get benches, couches, and a delicious-looking hanging egg chair, all for a pretty reasonable price.

Callum Smith, Kmart's General Manager for General Merchandise, said in a statement: "We are proud to now be able to provide our customers with the opportunity to shop a wider range of products within each room at Kmart.

"The online exclusives range has allowed us to stock large furniture pieces essential for our customers' homes that are on-trend, affordable and easily assembled."

The items will only be available online for shoppers in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. People in other states and territories will have to get their pals to order the products for them and ship them to their interstate address.

Included in the new line is a two seater 'Coastal Series' Outdoor Double Lounge Chair, which will set you back $189, a 'Coastal Series' Outdoor Armchair, which costs $99, and a 'Coastal Series' Dining table and matching chairs, which are $149 and $89 for two, respectively.

It's not known how much stock Kmart will have so if you want to spruce up your backyard then you probably should get in quick.
