McDonald's Has Cancelled All-Day Breakfast In Australia

McDonald's Has Cancelled All-Day Breakfast In Australia

The move is to help customers during 'other peak times'.

McDonald's changed the game when they introduced all-day breakfast in Australia back in 2015.

If you were hankering for those Macca's hot cakes or bacon and egg McMuffin in the afternoon then you would be able to nip at any time and order until your heart's content.

However, it seems like the fast food company has decided to get rid of this feature without telling everyone.

McDonald's has revealed in a statement that last week they removed the option to get all-day brekkie.

"From Wednesday, October 20, our breakfast menu will be available until midday in restaurants and 10:30am via McDelivery, to better meet the needs of customers during other peak times," the statement said (via the Courier Mail).

"By adjusting our all-day breakfast schedule we hope to reduce the amount of time our customers may need to wait for other items during the afternoon and evening rush.

"While we understand a number of customers will be disappointed, our breakfast menu will continue to be available in restaurant until midday every day and via McDelivery until 10.30am."

Hash Browns will be the only item on the breakfast menu that you will be able to order throughout the day and night.

But you can kiss those beautiful hot cake afternoons goodbye because you'll have to make sure you order them well before the clock strikes 12.

Despite bringing in the move last week, a quick search of the Aussie Macca's website still states all-day brekkie is a thing.

They still have tag line: "We don't believe in labels at Macca's, like dinner or breakfast. So, we got rid of them. You can have a Big Mac for breakfast or a Hash Brown for dinner."

Obviously this is only the case now with Hash Browns.
