McDonald's Australia is lighting up everyone's lives by adding a classic shaker fries flavour to its menu from today (August 5).

If you haven't tried shaker fries then you haven't lived.

The premise is simple: you get your regular fries in a packet as well as a seasoning packet that you sprinkle over your chips. The bag is big enough that you can close it up and shake the living hell out of it to ensure the flavouring is everywhere.

McDonald's is bringing back the classic Cheeseburger Flavour - but only for a limited time.

Jo Feeney, Marketing Director, McDonald's Australia said in a statement: "Our delicious fries, which are made from 100% Australian potatoes, are an iconic part of our menu and a fan favourite right around the country.

"From [today], our popular Cheeseburger Shaker Fries will be returning to the menu for a limited time, giving our customers the option to shake things up next time they order fries."

McDonald's is also allowing people to return their fries and get a new serving if they don't feel their portion is up to scraps. If you've ordered online, you're allowed to lodge a complaint and you'll be given a voucher for next time. It's called their Fry Guarantee and it's here to ensure that everyone walks away happy.

So get in while you can.
