McDonald's Monopoly is back for another round in Australia and you could win big.

In case you've somehow managed to spend your entire life completely oblivious to the company's Monopoly campaign let us explain.

Some food items will now come with a peel-back sticker attached to the packaging, which have instant wins or codes you can use online to claim bigger prizes; others are 'collect to win' stickers that you need to get two or three of to bag a prize - any excuse to eat more McDonald's food, eh?

This year in Australia, there is a whopping $532 million worth of prizes to win between now and 25 October.

There's a one in five chance to score an instant winner, including burgers, breakfast menu items and desserts, and some of the bigger prizes include a $2,500 Visa card, free fuel for a year and even a Volkswagen T-Cross car.

Macca's is also getting a bit tech-savvy for this year's game. Users will be able to use augmented reality to scan their local restaurant and find hidden tokens, which will help them win other prizes.

Jo Feeney, Marketing Director at McDonald's Australia said in a statement: "We know our customers love the Monopoly Game at Macca's, and we're thrilled to be bringing it back in 2020 with a record-breaking prize pool of $532 million.

"There's some amazing prizes up for grabs, and anyone who plays has a one in five chance of scoring a winning ticket.

"The launch of our Augmented Reality game also gives our customers more ways than ever before to play and win with the Monopoly Game at Macca's."

The Monopoly game will run until 25 October, so you've got plenty of time to order as much as you can.
