If ice cream cakes were a staple of your childhood, then you'll be all over the concoction found below.

Some mad lad over at Taste has created what could very well be the most iconic Aussie cake we've ever borne witness to: the Bubble O' Bill birthday cake.

That's right - as if the classic blend of strawberry, chocolate and caramel (complete with a bubblegum nose, of course) wasn't already heavenly enough, someone has gone and upped their ice cream cake game by including a whopping EIGHT Bubble O' Bills in this epic recipe.

Among the other ingredients needed to create this godly delight include Arnott's Choc Ripple biscuits, vanilla ice cream, chocolate sprinkles, dark chocolate, whipped cream, and maybe a towel to mop up the drool currently coming out of our mouths right now just thinking about this.

According to the recipe: "This ice cream cake couldn't be easier to assemble - or enjoy!"

Basically, the recipe involves crushing up the biscuits and mixing them with heated coconut oil to form the biscuit base, before combining ice-cream and sprinkles in a bowl and freezing them to create the next layer before using the chocolate mixture to drip over the edge.

Lastly - in what is definitely the most important part of all - eight Bubble O' Bills are then added around the perimeter of the cake, completing your delectable creation.

A note at the bottom of the recipe reads: "We found our Bubble O'Bill ice creams sold individually at service stations and selected independent supermarkets".

But you already knew that, of course.

If you're already salivating over the prospect of making this little beauty, you can check out the full recipe for the legendary creation over here.
