PETA is petitioning for the game of baseball to change the name of a section of the stadium because it's offensive.
The bullpen is referred to the part of a stadium where relief pitchers warm up before entering a game.
However, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals believes this moniker should get a refresh because it's not in keeping with their world view.
The organisation wrote: "Bullpen refers to the area of a 'bull's pen' where bulls are held before they are slaughtered-it's a word with speciesist roots & we can do better than that.

"Switching to 'arm barn' would be a home run for baseball fans, players, and animals."
Some people were all for the idea as it moved away from referencing animals in sport.
Oner Twitter user wrote: "Agreed! This may seem odd to some at first, but think about it: Just as we don't use language that refers to the cruelty and exploitation of humans, PETA is simply saying, let's add animals to the mix. Animals are individuals as well!"
Another added: "Although their reasoning is exceedingly stupid, 'Arm Barn' would be a great name. I hope a team adopts it as a joke for next season."

Unsurprisingly, the suggestion didn't go down well with others and they thought the idea was completely unnecessary.
Many took the opportunity to troll PETA for even suggesting it.
"Arm barn?? Really we are gonna use Barn? Do you guys realize how insensitive this is to the TREES. Barns are mostly made of trees who were SLAUGHTERED and CUT into pieces just so that a barn can be built," one person said.
A different user wrote: "Not one time in my life did I ever think of a cow while saying 'bullpen' I didn't even know the two shared meaning. You thought way too hard on this one."

Yeah look, we don't reckon this one will take hold, especially considering baseball gloves and balls aren't exactly vegan.
