They are selling for thousands.

There's nothing like the thrill of getting something for nothing - especially if that freebie then turns out to be worth thousands of dollars.

Which is the case with the new batch of Woolworths' Disney+ Ooshies.

Just weeks after the new collection was launched by the supermarket, Aussies are already trying to make big bucks by selling their rare Ooshies on eBay.

The retail giant kicked off its latest promotion on August 26, with shoppers eligible to collect a free Ooshie with every $30 spent in store or online.

The regular set includes 36 mini figures, and this year, the retailer has also added four rare glitter Ooshies, in addition to the 'standard' set.

The rarest Ooshies in the current collection include a glittery Woody, Elsa, Mandalorian and Captain Marvel.

And this is where things get a little murky. As one lucky collector who bagged a Glitter Elsa has already been trying to flog it for an eye-watering $50,000 on eBay.

A New South Wales eBay user has slapped the huge price tag on their 'rare' glittery figurine of Elsa from Frozen.

Whether someone will be willing to pay the huge price tag for the collectible remains to be seen.

And perhaps the Elsa won't be the most sought-after of the toys, as it's been revealed that there are also set to be some ultra rare Disney + Ooshies for fans to collect.

There are two more Ooshies which have bagged ultra-rare status: Thor and The Child.

A photo of the rumoured ultra rare Ooshies was recently shared on the Ooshies Buy/Swap/Sell Australia Facebook page.

The Thor and The Child collectables were snapped next to the four rare glitter Ooshies, along with details about the promotion.

Woolworths was slammed last year over its use of plastics in the toys, so this time the retailer has partnered with TerraCycle to offer customers dedicated recycle bins where they can drop any pre-loved Ooshies and their wrappers.
