A woman is furious after forking out $1,100 on a Chanel advent calendar and seeing what's behind some of the boxes.
You'd think that because Chanel is one of the most luxurious fashion labels in the world you would get some pretty nice goodies inside each slot.
However, Elise Harmon quickly realised the hype definitely did not live up to reality after opening some of the boxes.
She was super excited to receive her special advent calendar before December kicked off and admitted that the price tag was pretty difficult to swallow.

The advent calendar is shaped like one of Chanel's No5 perfume bottles and there's a box for each day in the month before Christmas.
She couldn't resist opening a few and the disappointment that ensued is a serious understatement.
"This has to be a joke. This is a joke," Elise said on her TikTok account. "Stickers? STICKERS."
Another box saw a small, white dust bag inside while a different one unveiled a bracelet with a plastic, wax melt stamp-looking piece to it.
"Number eight was really calling my name until I opened it up. I can't make this up. It's just this little [dust bag]," she said after opening another door.

"Eight was a total flop. I really don't understand how I'm supposed to live, laugh and love under these conditions."
She revealed there was one box that contained some nice hand cream, however she's so far pretty underwhelmed by the prizes.
Other nice items she's found were red nail polish and a bottle of Chanel No5, which retails at more than $200.
Elise was fuming that she had spent $1,100 on an advent calendar that she thought would contain something more exciting than bloody stickers.
Obviously Chanel can't be throwing a grands worth of goodies inside as they have to make money at the end of the day, but Elise's followers agreed that she had been short changed here.

One person described it as the 'Fyre Festival of advent calendars, while another joked that the company 'really robbed you'.
"This has to be stuff they found around the warehouse," a third said.
Chanel has apologised for the disappointment.
"We are sorry that this calendar may have disappointed some people," it said in a statement.

"The exclusive content of the calendar has always been fully detailed on our website chanel.com as well as on the packaging of the product: 27 boxes numbered from 5 to 31, containing full-size perfume and makeup products, miniatures and souvenirs all stamped with Gabrielle Chanel's lucky number."
