The 1975 have recently released track 'People' from their upcoming album which is out on February 21. The NME spoke highly about it, saying: "People' is the band's heaviest and most confrontational moment yet.

"On it, the band finally embracing their love of cult US hardcore bands, for a thundering punk-rock slapper, that whiffs of the same strain as desert-dudes Queens of The Stone Age, via the pop sensibilities of Elastica. It's electrifying stuff."

The 1975 UK tour will visit London, Manchester and Liverpool.

There's more good news for music fans, when you buy a ticket for the 1975 tour you will also be helping the environment. Yes really. The band have teamed up with controversial climate change activist Greta Thunberg to create the intro for the track and have also said they'd plant a tree for every ticket sold.

Their manager took to Twitter to say: Really pleased to say we will be planting a tree for every ticket sold!

It seems to have gone down well with their fans. One replied: "The 1975 planting a tree for every ticket sold, reprinting merch to save the planet and having recyclable plastic for their packaging, people ask me why I love this band so much?? This is one of the biggest reasons why."

The 1975's latest album, 'Notes On A Conditional Form' is set to stop on 21 February 2020.

Tickets for the tour go on sale 9am Friday 20th September and will be available here.
