What started out as an April Fool's Joke has been turned into reality.

Some people might remember that Victoria Bitter unveiled a branded sneaker on April 1 this year and everyone lost the plot.

Sadly, it was revealed to be a massive troll and we were all left wondering what life would have been like with VB x Volleys.

But now you don't have to wonder as the legendary beer company has followed through on their joke and has officially debuted the shoes.

After getting such a positive reaction from the April Fool's Joke, VB realised they could be making some serious coin off people who want to show their alcoholic preference on their feet.

That's why it gives us the ultimate pleasure to introduce to you the brain child of Victoria Bitter and Volleys.

Hayden Turner, Victoria Bitter's Marketing Director, said in a statement: "When we saw the popularity of the [April Fool's post], we felt this was a good opportunity to offer something different to our drinkers. We hope they love it as much as we do."

The shoes will set you back a cheeky $84.99, but you can whack on some VB x Volleys socks for good measure and even buy a limited edition cooler box that comes with the shoes at just $94.99.

The shoes will go on sale from December 2, which means they could be the perfect Christmas present for legends who want the ultimate shooey.

This isn't the first time an April Fool's Joke has turned into an actual product.

Elon Musk did the exact same thing when he saw how many people were frothing over the idea of Tesla tequila so he decided to bring that joke to fruition.

Tesla has officially launched their Tequila on its website earlier this month, which comes with an extravagant bottle and a hefty price tag of US$250.

According to the website, the tequila is 'an exclusive, small-batch premium 100% de agave tequila añejo made from sustainably sourced highland and lowland agaves'.

"Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels and into a hand-blown glass bottle, Tesla Tequila features a dry fruit and light vanilla nose with a balanced cinnamon pepper finish. Best enjoyed as a sipping tequila," the description continued.

Orders are limited to two bottles, and only people in some states in the US can receive them due to 'industry regulations.'

Tesla appears to have partnered with Nosotros to produce the tequilla and Speakeasy Co, an alcohol branding and distributing company, to distribute the product.

Even if you don't like tequila, the bottle alone would be a pretty impressive item to add to your collection, although the rest of the liquor would look a little tame by comparison.
