Vince Vaughn has revealed that a Wedding Crashers sequel may very well be in the pipeline.

It's been 15 years since we were gifted the hilarious romantic comedy about two blokes who love to crash weddings so that they can sleep with women.

Who can forget the iconic 'Hey ma, THE MEATLOAF'.

But, a decade and a half on, it appears the two lead actors are keen for another snip. Vaughn says that he and co-star Owen Wilson have been talking 'seriously' about putting the flick together.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Vaughn said: "Owen and I and the director of Crashers have been talking for the first time seriously [about] a sequel to that movie,"

"So there has been an idea that is pretty good. So we are talking about that in the early stages."

The film also starred The Notebook's Rachel McAdams and Now You See Me's Isla Fisher.

Reminiscing on filming he hugely popular film, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Zoolander, Vaughn said: "They were fun movies to make. It's always fun to make people laugh and go to work with people that are funny."

Speaking of his latest project Freaky - the title being a take on Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis' Freaky Friday - Vince spoke of his delight in working opposite Kathryn Newton in the body-swapping flick that sees Vaughn as a killer-turned-teenager.

"The fun of this was having Kathryn to kind of build each character out with. She came with such good ideas, we had a rehearsal period where we were kind of finding the physicality of each character so there'd be cohesiveness," he shared.

"We just had a lot of fun kind of playing make-believe together."

Vaughn added: "There's a lot of physical stuff and fighting, but it was also so ridiculous"

"Like, we would be very committed in a scene and then sometimes we would start to improvise and play around with thought, so it was a roller coaster."

Freaky arrives in Australian theatres on November 12th.
