One of the best things about Christmas is the food. Diets go right out the window and we spend most of December piling on the pounds thanks to an array of festive delights. Who can say no to a Greggs Festive Bake, or a two metre long pig in blanket? Vegans, that's who.
Unfortunately, many people are strapped for cash in December as they've got to buy presents for people they probably don't actually like. That's where Wetherspoons comes in.
The cheap boozer has revealed its Christmas 2019 menu and it's fantastic. You can look forward to pigs in blanket burgers, mushroom and prosecco risotto and gingerbread muffins to name but a few of the options available.

'Spoons is synonymous with beer and a burger deals. This Christmas, the tradition continues as they've added a Brie and bacon burger, chicken and stuffing burger, buttermilk chicken and stuffing burger and a Brie and cranberry vegetable burger. As per usual, you can merry in the deal too as they come with a drink.
If you're a vegetarian and don't fancy a burger, you can chomp down on a mushroom risotto which has fewer than 500 calories. Even if you love a bit of meat, you might be tempted as it's made with roasted chestnut, porcini, shiitake and oyster mushrooms and is finished with a dash of prosecco and rocket.
Nothing says Christmas like pizza. Which is a complete lie, but I was struggling to tie the Italian delicacy into this piece. Two festive pizzas will be appearing on the menu. You can choose between an 11" chicken, stuffing, bacon & brie pizza, as well and an 11" Brie & smoky chilli jam pizza (suitable for vegetarians). And yes, you can get it in a deal with a bevvy.
