A woman has uploaded a seemingly heartwarming video to social media that has an unexpected twist.

Taylor Loren posted the clip to TikTok showing her husband on their wedding day as he stood at the altar.

He is beaming from ear to ear and looks absolutely chuffed at the big day.

Standing in a blue suit and wild but trimmed beard, the groom watched his bride walk down the aisle.

"Four years ago today I walked down the aisle to marry the love of my life," Taylor wrote.

"It was one of the most important & emotional moments of our life - and my husband did the most romantic thing..."

Taylor's now viral video shows the bloke whip out his phone during the pinnacle wedding ceremony moment.

While some people might think it was so he could snap a cheeky picture of his wife-to-be, you'd be mistaken.

The video has been liked by a quarter of a million people and many are finding it hilarious that the groom would do such a thing during such an important.

Some thought he might have had his vows on his phone and he was double checking it was still on there and ready for the big moment. Others reckon it was just a nervousness thing and he didn't know what to do to pass the time.

The clip was so big and everyone was asking Taylor to do a follow up video to explain.

She obliged and part two is just as brilliant and hilarious.

Taylor explained how she's still married to the love of her life and she included her husband in the video.

She asked him why he checked his phone and he replied: "Cause crypto never sleeps."

Because cryptocurrencies are a digital market, they're not restricted like other markets in terms of the time zone.

Their value and price fluctuate every second of the day and people who have a bit of money invested in the likes of Bitcoin or Ripple love to know what their coin is doing.

Taylor's wedding was four years ago, well before the crypto market really took off, so let's hope the mid-wedding check was worth it.
