Coeliacs rejoice because Woolworths have partnered with Coeliac Australia to sell their gluten-free products at half price.

Among the delicious items are gluten-free taco kits, dumplings and pizza bases, with the items all on sale until midnight on March 16.

Other gluten-free deals include $5.50 chicken schnitzels, $4 butter chicken with rice and vegetables, $6 beef ravioli, $3.50 Weet-Bix and $5 flourless chocolate fudge. Yum!

With one in 70 Australians currently living with coeliac disease - a lifelong condition that means your body cannot tolerate gluten - it's a sale that's sure to benefit many of those living with the often debilitating condition.

Woolworths Head of Food Brands Rachel Pryce said of the promotion: "As the proud partner of Coeliac Australia, we're dedicated to helping ensure all customers who shop at Woolworths have plenty of options that meet their dietary restrictions.

"The Woolworths Free From brand has had strong growth over the past two years due to greater customer awareness and diagnosis of the disease.

"We've also expanded the Free From Gluten range, with an additional seven products due to launch throughout the year and seasonally relevant gluten-free products during Easter and Christmas periods."

As well as the sale, members of Coeliac Australia will also receive a 5 per cent discount on over 700 gluten-free products across Woolworths supermarkets and metro stores nationally throughout the year.

Coeliac Australia Chief Executive Officer Michelle Laforest said its partnership with Woolworths was a great help for Aussies living with coeliac disease.

Coeliac Awareness Week is an annual event held from March 13 to March 20 by Coeliac Australia and aims to increase public awareness of the disease and improve the rates of testing and diagnosis by medical professionals.
