Azealia Banks Finally Issues Apology For Zayn Malik Tirade

It's still inexcusable.

Nearly a week after her horrendous and vile Twitter rant at Zayn Malik, the rapper who had one famous song has issued an apology.

In the wake of the comments, Banks was dropped from Rinse's Born & Bred festival which she was due to headline, and her Twitter account was also suspended.

Previously she had refused to apologise: "Not sorry I said it. But sorry for the way I made people feel," she wrote.

Now though, she's taken to Instagram to issue a full statement.

It reads: "Dear World, Now that the immediacy of the infamous incident has worn off, I've had some time to decompress & take a more rational assessment of things. I want to extend my sincerest apologies to the world. Employing racial/sexual slurs/stereotypes in attempts to make fun of or degrade another person or group is absolutely unacceptable and is not fair or fun for anyone. Allowing my anger to get the best of me, I've managed to insult millions of people without reason. And for that I give my deepest apologies."

Banks is also being investigated by the Home Office as to whether she should be banned from the country, after all, Tyler, the Creator was banned from entering the UK for 'offensive' lyrics he wrote about five years ago.

Just a few weeks before the Malik incident, she also said she would endorse Donald Trump's presidential campaign as he is 'evil, like America.'

Now, if the Home Office can let Tyler back in, and stop Azealia from coming anywhere near our shores that would be grand.
