There's some amazing news this morning, with it being announced that Eminem will be playing some massive UK live shows this summer.

According to a post on metropolismusic.com, which is a partner of Live Nation, the rap legend, real name Marshall Mathers, will be playing at Twickenham Stadium in London on July 14 and July 15.

It's Eminem's first tour in four years and comes off the back of his worldwide smash-hit return with new album Revival, which has been taking fans by storm.

The Slim Shady star played one-off festivals last summer in the UK when he headlined at the Reading and Leeds Festivals but those appearances were not part of a tour.

TAKE A TOUR OF EMINEM'S HOUSE

Ticket's for Eminem's summer 2018 shows will go on sale on February 2 and we reckon you'll need to be quick if you want to get any.

It was a rare live appearance when he featured at Reading and Leeds, where he has also played in the past in 2001 and 2013.

And his agent, Steve Strange, told Music Week of those performances: "He's a legend and one good thing about Eminem is that he's so continuously relevant.

"From the start of the career right up to date, the guy is one of the hippest and coolest performers that there is in the business and I don't think that can be denied.

"Reading & Leeds has been a tradition for Marshall. He likes the event and I think the audience is very much his demographic."

Eminem had taken a bit of a break from touring a few years ago but now appears to be getting back into the swing of things and he remains as popular as ever.

Strange said of Eminem's hiatus from touring between 2005-2009: "We came back in [2010] to do three events: a show in Switzerland called Openair Frauenfeld, T in the Park in Scotland and Oxegen in Dublin. That was his re-entry back into the live arena and since that we've done sporadic touring, where we've taken in a mixture of festivals and headlines.

"Every single one of his headline shows have all sold out, by the way, with the exception of none. I've had a very consistent career of sell-outs for this guy."

Get tickets for those Twickenham shows if you can.
