Kanye West has posted a video of him appearing to urinate on a Grammy award.

The video, which was posted on Twitter, was captioned: "Trust me ... I WONT STOP" and is part of a tirade that has lasted for the last few days.

The rapper, who actually has 21 of the coveted awards to his name, has long since been a critic of the institution. But now it appears he has an issue with the way the music industry makes money, calling it 'modern day slavery'.

He's called on a number of stars to 'help' - oddly, even Taylor Swift.

He has posted a lengthy thread of tweets that seem to show his contract with Universal Music Group, TLDR: he wants to be released from his publishing deals with the company.

He wrote: "Here are my ten Universal contracts... I need every lawyer in the world to look at these."

He posted images of the contracts that were too small to read, then started posting out the individual pages, two at a time.

He said: "This is what me Kanye West deal looks like today.

"I PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS THAT IT DON'T LOOK LIKE THIS TOMORROW."

Kanye has condemned the whole music industry, but has noticeably not been to the Grammy awards since 2015.

His albums My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Watch the Thrones were both missed out of the Album of the Year nominations in 2012. He wasn't best pleased at the fact, prompting him to bring it up at a concert.

He said: "Since when was making art about getting rich?...Remind me again why we in this s***? Remind me again why the Grammys [can] suck my d***."

And then, in 2015 - his infamous stage storm took place, when he stormed the stage complaining that Beck had won an award over Beyonce.

In a later interview he said: "The Grammys, if they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We aren't going to play with them no more. Beck needs to respect artistry, he should have given his award to Beyonce."

He's not the only one - Drake and Frank Ocean have also both questioned the Grammys - Ocean even said that he didn't want his record to be considered for the 2017 awards.
