Katy Perry Explains Why She Wasn't Naked In Paddleboard Photo With Orlando Bloom

Do you remember when Orlando Bloom got his wang out on a paddleboard? Of course you do. How could you forget? Well, Katy Perry has now explained why she chose to keep her clothes on, rather than joining the actor in getting her kit off. She tells all in the clip below:

Speaking to US radio personality Howard Stern, the 35-year-old said she wasn't scared of being photographed and would have warned Orlando if she thought they would have been; it just wasn't for her.

She said: "I mean, I would have never like set him up, if I had a real thought, but in the back of my mind... I am Jim Carrey in The Truman Show a little bit, so I thought maybe there would be a chance.

"I would say I'm a little more of the pragmatic in the partnership."

The 'Firework' singer then explained that Orlando was just trying to blend in with the way of doing things on the continent.

She added: "Well it was Europe. And honestly we had had a pretty chill time for a week and everywhere we looked it was like everybody's naked, it's Europe, it's Italy.

"And I think he wanted to fit in with the locals and it was the end of the trip."

This comes a few months after Bloom claimed that his widge wasn't actually as big as people think.

Speaking to Howard Stern last year, the 43-year-old said it was just a flattering angle.

He told the presenter: "It is really not that big. Things are expanded on cameras with a big optical lens. It is an optical illusion.

"The publicist called to say, 'That is not the worst of it. First of all there were pictures with a block over it.'

"And you make some jokes like: 'Have you got a black box big enough to cover it?' And then you suddenly realise somebody is going to uncover the black box because they are going to be paid enough.

"It's a triple whammy - photos, black box, then no black box."

If that wasn't awkward enough, Bloom had to text his ex-wife Miranda Kerr to warn their eight-year-old son Flynn that his weapon would be shared all over the internet.

Miranda spoke about the situation in 2016 on Aussie radio station Kyle & Jackie O. She said: "Oh my god, he text me and he was like, 'Um, I'm really embarrassed. Some photos are coming out. Just thought I should let you know.'

"And I was like, 'Hmmmm ... right, what were you thinking? Seriously, what were you thinking?'"
