While the doctors and nurses work themselves into the ground, desperately trying to stop the spread of the coronavirus, one man is putting the real hard yards into getting us through this.

I am, of course, talking about record producer Pitbull - real name Armando Christian Pérez.

Yep, he is releasing a song that he hopes will give billions of people around the world the motivation to carry on.

The 39-year-old says that 'I Believe That We Will Win' was inspired by his struggle to make it to the top and he wants to share that message.

Teasing his new track on Twitter, Mr Pérez said: "If there's any time to check in for the world, it's right now.

"Now is when we take fear, and - it's not 'Forget Everything And Run', it's 'Face Everything And Rise'."

(A line that's questionably close to Ian Brown's 2001 track F.E.A.R, I might point out)

But I digress.

The Bull goes on: "Miami is what taught me how to fight, and I want to give that to everybody in the world right now.

"Now we've got to stick together, we've got to fight hard and show how powerful it is when we get together.

"And this right here is a world anthem, called 'I Believe That We Will Win'."

Adding: "This right here's to motivate the world, and with that said, I want y'all to stay healthy, stay safe, and stay blessed."

Pitbull wants to inspire the world with his music.

Do you feel suitably inspired? No? Well, I'm sure the recent celebrity ensemble's rendition of John Lennon's 'Imagine' will get you up and ready to kick some global pandemic arse.

The three-minute long clip was shared on Gal's Instagram page and showed a host of stars, including Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo and Will Ferrell, taking turns to sing.

Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot says: "Hey guys! Day six in self-quarantine and I've got to say these past few days have got me feeling a bit philosophical.

"You know this virus... it has affected the entire world. Everyone. It doesn't matter who you are, or where you're from, we're all in this together.

"I saw a video of an Italian guy playing the trumpet on his balcony, for all the people locked in their homes, and he was playing 'Imagine' and there was something so powerful and pure about this video."

It's okay to not panic.
