A new picture has emerged showing Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein cosying up outside the Queen's log cabin at Balmoral.

Maxwell, 59, is seen wearing a blue checked shirt and has her hand draped over Epstein's knee while he has his arm around her.

Her Majesty has been photographed in the same place where she can be seen enjoying lunch with Margaret Rhodes:

The picture of Maxwell and Epstein, along with others, have been issued by US Department of Justice during Maxwell's sex trafficking trial.

Other pictures, which were seized by the FBI in 2019, show Maxwell and Epstein together as they were characterised by the prosecutors as 'partners in crime'.

It is believed that the photograph from the cabin was from 1999 when the former couple were invited to Balmoral by Prince Andrew.

Other images show Maxwell massaging Epstein's feet on board a private jet as well as one of her kissing his cheek.

In another, they can be seen riding a motorbike together as well as some more loved up snaps.

Maxwell is accused of luring young girls to massage rooms to be molested by the disgraced financier between 1994 and 2004.

The full indictment against Maxwell lists six charges: conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts; enticement of a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts; conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity; transporting a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity; sex trafficking conspiracy; and sex trafficking of a minor.

The defendant is further alleged to have lied under oath by hiding her participation in Epstein’s offences during a separate civil case.

Epstein was found dead in his cell at a federal jail in Manhattan in August 2019 while he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges.

The death was ruled a suicide.

Maxwell, who has been held in a US jail since her arrest in July last year, denies all charges and the trial continues.
