Vending Machine Dispenses Bag Of White Powder Hidden In Crisp Packet For £50

Vending Machine Dispenses Bag Of White Powder Hidden In Crisp Packet For £50

The video has been shared on social media and shows two men purchasing a bag of white powder from a vending machine in London

When you go to London you expect to pay a little over the odds. You even expect to be ripped off; it's part of the fun. Every time I hand over £6 for a pint of Foster's, a little piece of me dies inside. I once paid £5 just to go into a pub, which was truly heartbreaking - more painful than when my dog died.

But even for London, £50 for a packet of crisps seems a bit steep - however, a bizarre video shared online shows that one group of lads can't wait to part with that kind of money and get their hands on a packet of salt and vinegar.

At first you think they've either lived in the capital for too long, or they're just a bunch of fucking idiots, or (very possible) both. But no, we soon realise that this is not a standard bag of crisps.

Zigy Andrez Bravo posted the video to Facebook, depicting one of the group putting £50 - two 20-pound notes and one tenner - into a vending machine.

As you'd expect, they push the buttons for the crisps they want, the bag falls down, and one of the group roots around in the bottom of the machine to obtain his prize.

Then - and this is where the plot thickens - the apparently-sealed crisp packet is opened and is revealed to contain a small bag containing a white powder. Have they bought a packet of old-skool salt'n'shake crisps? .

And unless this is some new marketing campaign I missed, I'm certain this isn't the kind of PR that Gary Lineker and Walkers are looking for.

In the video one of the people can be heard saying the words '50 for a full gram'.

Someone is then heard saying: "Nah, I don't believe it."

You are not alone, pal.

After the money is inserted the a couple of people point at the screen on the machine which supposedly says '£50'.

At this point the boys are getting very excited at the prospect of buying a bag of the white powder and one can then be heard saying 'legs 11' as he punches in the numbers on the vending machine.

As the bag falls, one person starts singing 'here we go, here we go' in the background, before the man who bought the crisps reaches into the machine and says: "Packet of Walkers, yeah?"

As he pulls out a small bag, he adds: "Look what we have here."

At this point the group becomes very excited at this and begins cheering. One of them is then heard saying 'let's roll' and the video ends.

The clip was posted online on Tuesday 2 October with the caption: "They have taken it to a new level, cocaine in a vending machine."

But while thousands of people have watched the video, not everyone is buying it.

What, so people don't think this is a completely legit video and that Walkers are selling charlie on the side?

One person commented said: "No way."

Another said: "Has to be a pre-placed pack already tampered with, placed in the drop zone."

And a third person added: "That's weird, how did they know it was in there?"

Zigy defended the footage however.

He said: "It's not a joke - these machines are genuinely around."

Yeah, alright mate.

LADbible has reached out to Walkers for comment.
