App Lets You Track And Log How Much TV You Watch

App Lets You Track And Log How Much TV You Watch

It's safe to say that most of us are likely to be watching a lot more television at the moment, but now you can work out how much time you've actually spent binge-watching your favourite shows.

An app lets you find out the dirty truth about just how much time you've spent sat in front of the - and the grim truth is not for the faint-hearted.

TV Time allows you to input the shows you've watched to give you the total amount you've watched, as well as letting you keep your mates updated with what you've been watching.

As you can see, you're likely to have racked up a good few hours:

Or should we say months:

The website for the app reads: "TV Time is the world's largest tracking platform for TV and movies, helping everyone from the casual viewer to the passionate fan navigate their viewing experience.

"Our audience is your audience, and they are telling us exactly what they are watching, how they are watching, when they are watching, and why they are watching."

It also means that you can share on social media what you've watched, with the app automatically pulling through the information to post on Twitter when you log whatever it is you have just seen.

As you can see, people are getting nicely stuck into a load of old favourites - if you're not spending this time on self-improvement or any of that productive stuff, you may as well get re-acquainted with The Sopranos.

You can also unlock badges for watching three or more episodes of a show in under 24 hours; wracking up more than 100 followers on the app; or watching episodes as soon as they're broadcast among other things:

So whether you're starting something new, or going over old ground with a personal favourite, you can share just how lazy you are with the whole world. What else are we going to do to occupy ourselves during lockdown?
