A bar has been slammed for promoting a coronavirus-themed club night, sating it will be the 'sickest night of the year'.
Fitzgerald's Irish Bar, in Banbury, Western Australia, even offered free face masks at their event, which had an image of a bottle of Corona on the event page.
The ad has sparked outrage across social media and in local press, with one person labelling it 'disrespectful'.
The event description read: "There's been a LOT of talk about Corona and to be honest its made us pretty thirsty.

"We've heard Corona is pretty popular at the moment. We're not sure why though, it's just beer isn't it?
"$6 CORONA'S ALL NIGHT THIS SATURDAY. We dare you to find a better special.
"We (sort of) promise they aren't contaminated."
The event was created amid the outbreak of the deadly virus, which has so far killed more than 250 people. Almost 12,000 cases have been confirmed, with two people now confirmed to have the disease in the UK.

The Department of half confirmed the cases yesterday (31 January).
Professor Chris Whitty, chief medical officer for England, said: "We can confirm that two patients in England, who are members of the same family, have tested positive for coronavirus.
"The patients are receiving specialist NHS care, and we are using tried and tested infection control procedures to prevent further spread of the virus.

"The NHS is extremely well-prepared and used to managing infections and we are already working rapidly to identify any contacts the patients had, to prevent further spread.
"We have been preparing for UK cases of novel coronavirus and we have robust infection control measures in place to respond immediately.
"We are continuing to work closely with the World Health Organisation and the international community as the outbreak in China develops to ensure we are ready for all eventualities."
With the outbreak being labelled an international emergency, 100 passengers who have been evacuated from Wuhan, China, have been put into quarantine after returning to the UK.

According to reports, 83 British nationals and 27 European nationals have returned from the locked-down city, which is at the centre of the deadly outbreak.
The jumbo jet was met by a queue of coaches waiting to transport them to Arrowe Park Hospital in Wirral, Merseyside, where they will be placed in quarantine for two weeks, staying in accommodation meant for NHS staff.
They will be monitored around the clock and treated if they show any symptoms of the illness that is sweeping across the planet.
