A popular beauty blogger has been told that she could have just weeks left to live after waking up with a 'splitting' headache.

49-year-old Samantha Last, who is from Norfolk, awoke to find that she had a severe migraine last Tuesday but was then told be doctors that she has a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.

Just a matter of days later she was told by doctors at Addenbrooke's Hospital that there was no treatment available that could help her and that her cancer was terminal.

Now, her husband David says that she could pass away within weeks after her condition has deteriorated significantly.

In an emotional farewell video to followers of her video beauty blog - of which she has 15,000 - she said: "It's been amazing, I've loved every second."

In the eight-minute-long video to fans of her channel, which is mainly focused on make-up tutorials for older women, she continued: "It's not going to get better. That's what I am coping with at the moment. I can't hide it anymore."

Samantha, who - as well as having been married to her husband for 30 years - is a mother of four and grandparent of seven, made it clear that this video, released on Saturday, would be her last.

She launched the channel back in 2014 after losing her job in a call centre.

Samantha added: "I am so, so sorry it's a horrible message I am sharing. If anyone sees me out I am not my usual glamorous self. I am never going to be my usual glamorous self.

"All that matters is to be comfortable and to be with my loved ones and you [the subscribers to her channel].

"I am so sorry this is such a horrible message. But I wanted you to share the final part of my journey."

"Today I am going to try not to cry, I probably will cry. I want to share my final video.

"This is going to be my last YouTube video.... I want you to be involved in this one last journey with me. This is my final farewell.

"I want to complete my YouTube video journey. I think it's going to be good, but it is also going to be sad."

In the brave video, she also explained the circumstances that led to her diagnosis.

Last said that she'd been ill in the weeks beforehand, but 'nothing major, just ear infections'.

"But a week ago I was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. But, I am not going to get over this. All I can do is minimise at this stage. Be comfortable."

Her husband David, said: "She asked for paracetamol so I knew it was serious. She never wanted painkillers, even during childbirth she turned them down.

"In the morning she begged for me to stay home so I did.

"She worsened so I took her to accident and emergency at hospital in Norwich."

On Friday, he received the worst news.

"She called me and said 'I've got some news. They can't do anything for me'."

He added: "We believe she has around four weeks now."

A GoFundMe page has been set up for a final trip to Agatha Christie's beach house in Devon - Samantha loves murder mysteries and the seaside - and for her funeral costs.
