A shopper who was innocently perusing the Christmas decorations in her local B&M was shocked to find a reindeer ornament was quite well endowed.

Initially thinking the white, festive decoration would make a nice addition to her Christmas display, she picked it up for a closer inspection.

But, when she turned it over to find the price tag, she was confronted head on with an anatomically accurate confirmation that the stag was definitely a male.

The shopper shared a photo of the ornament, which costs £10, to Facebook group B&M Stores Bargains and More.

They captioned the post: "So I was just in B&M and saw this stag. Thought it was pretty cute.

"I go to find the barcode as it wasn't round its neck where it usually is so thought it may be a stuck on somewhere...

"I turn it over & see that."

The post garnered loads of attention, with reactions varying from shock to hilarity.

One person said: "Well at least we know it's definitely a stag."

Another wrote: "Oh that's brilliant. They will sell out now I bet!!"

While a third, quite creepily said: "Not something I would normally buy, but now I'm compelled to."

A B&M spokesperson told LADbible: "We don't want to come across as cocky but we think we've got the best range of decorations on the high street this year!

"Our stag ornament has sold really well - we can't help but think it's because of his big personality."

People have actually been putting their Christmas decorations up since September now - and who can blame them?

And before you get all judgmental, it's actually been scientifically proven that getting festive early doors can make you feel happier. I think I speak for us all when I say that we can all use a bit of joy this year.

Speaking to UNILAD last year, Steve McKeown - psychoanalyst, founder of MindFixers and owner of The McKeown Clinic - explained that Christmas decorations often evoke a strong sense of nostalgia, which can act as the perfect antidote in a time 'full of stress'.

He said: "Although there could be a number of symptomatic reasons why someone would want to obsessively put up decorations early, most commonly for nostalgic reasons either to relive the magic or to compensate for past neglect.

"In a world full of stress and anxiety people like to associate to things that make them happy and Christmas decorations evoke those strong feelings of the childhood.

"Decorations are simply an anchor or pathway to those old childhood magical emotions of excitement. So putting up those Christmas decorations early extend the excitement!"
