A bride-to-be who wanted to surprise her fiancé on their wedding day by arriving in a helicopter has died after it crashed just one mile from the venue.
The method of travel was Rosemere do Nascimento Silva's childhood dream for her big day, but tragedy struck en route and the 32-year-old was killed along with her brother, the pilot and a photographer.
Her husband-to-be, Udirley Damasceno, and their 300 wedding guests were unaware of her plans or of the accident while they waited for her to arrive at the venue in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Air crash investigators and police are now trying to determine the cause of the crash. The Mirror reports that it may have hit a tree due to bad visibility.

Carlos Eduardo Batista, the wedding organiser, said: "I called the pastor who was officiating at the ceremony and he went with me to help break the awful news to the groom.
"Udirley was shell-shocked and couldn't speak as he tried to understand what had happened. He was heartbroken," The Sun reports.
The short journey should have taken just 15 minutes.
