Chris Evans has joined Instagram and is joining forces with the rest of the Avengers cast for a special group Q&A.

The 38-year-old, who famously played Captain America in the Marvel series, has finally been coaxed into joining the social media platform to help raise money for the #AllInChallenge.

In a video posted to his brand new account, Evans revealed that he would be offering a fan and their two mates the opportunity to spend some time with him and five other stars of the superhero franchise, for a chat and to play some games.

Speaking in the brief vid, the Knives Out star said: "Hey everyone, Chris Evans here. I am accepting the All In Challenge - I was challenged by Chris Pratt.

"This is a great cause, it helps get food to people who are in need during this Covid nightmare, so I am very happy to be doing this.

"Now I saw what Pratt is offering, I can't compete with that, I can't get you eaten by a dinosaur. But here's what I can offer: a virtual hang out with me and five of my closest friends: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner."

Evans has promised three lucky fans the chance to have a private Q&A with some of his Avengers buddies.

He added: "We can do a private Q&A, you can ask us anything, we'll spill the beans, then maybe some games. I would recommend Scattergories."

According to the charity's website, the lucky Marvel fans will get a 40-minute web chat with Chris and the rest of the gang, with 20 minutes spent playing board games and the other 20 on a private question and answer session.

Where do I sign up?

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this incredible prize is buy a ticket or two.

Entrants need to go to the All In Challenge website and select one of four options. The amount you donate will change the amount of entries you get. So, $10 (£8) will get you 10 entries, $25 (£20) will get your 25 entries, $50 (£40) will get you 100 and $100 (£80) will get you 200.

The entire amount raised through this game/auction will go directly to the Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry charities.

The competition is now open for anyone to enter and will close on 25 May at 11.59pm Eastern Time (3.59am GMT).
