Although some people are going to have a lot to say about John Legend being named the sexiest man alive, his wife Chrissy Teigen is, unsurprisingly, delighted about it.
Yes, the singer was handed the mantle by People magazine this week, somehow nabbing the title from man-God Idris Elba.
Speaking about his win, the 40-year-old 'All Of Me' singer said: "I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it's a lot of pressure."

He also joked at the idea of him following on from Elba, posting a throwback picture of himself side-by-side with the actor and writing: "1995 John would be very perplexed to be following 2018 @IdrisElba as #SexiestManAlive.
"Hell, 2019 John is about as equally perplexed but thank you @People for finding me sexy. I'll take it."
Nonetheless, wife Teigen backs People's decision and reckons her husband totally deserves it.

Tweeting a picture of the People front cover featuring Legend, she wrote: "My secret is out. I have fulfilled my dream of having boned @people's sexiest man alive!! an honor!!!!!"
She also addressed the fact that more or less everyone aside from the writers at People are going to be scratching their heads over the choice: "I cannot WAIT for people to get mad about John being the sexiest man alive. It's my new Starbucks holiday cup."
She just loves to hit back at trolls - and you can bet there are going to be a whole host of 'em emerging from the depths of the internet to have their say

The mum-of-two revealed a couple of years back that she's been in trouble before because of her social media activity, telling Harper's Bazaar: "It wasn't really an accepted thing within my modelling and TV career early on.
"I would get in trouble, lots of phone calls from agents saying 'Why did you tweet this? Now we're in trouble with such-and-such a contract because you were too outspoken'.
"I got so much feedback that I needed to watch my mouth if I wanted to work with certain people. And I remember sobbing so much because it was just the worst feeling, letting people down.

"I definitely lost work because people would shy away from being associated [with me], and I totally get it, too - they have to appeal to everybody."
Nonetheless, the model has proven them wrong and can thank her outspoken nature for being famous. Love it or hate it, you can't deny that people pay attention when she posts online.
