Christian Man Wants To Sue The NFL For $867 Trillion Because Half-Time Show Was Too Sexual

Dave Daubenmire thought there were too many crotch shots that put him at risk of going to hell.

The Super Bowl Half-Time Show with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez was a massive moment for cultural diversity in America, sparked loads of memes and will go down as one of the best.

However, one Christian man was definitely not happy with the way the two artists danced on stage and the way they were dressed.

But instead of complaining to his mates, writing an angry post on social media or threatening to boycott next year's Super Bowl, Dave Daubenmire wants to get the lawyers involved.

Coach Dave Live

The host of the Pass the Salt podcast thought J-Lo and Shakira's performance was way too sexual for TV and blames the NFL for putting on such a show without any warnings.

In a video posted to his website, Coach Dave Live, the Christian activist said to his followers: "I think we ought to sue.

"Would that halftime show, would that have been rated PG? Were there any warnings that your 12-year-old son-whose hormones are just starting to operate - was there any warning that what he was going to see might cause him to get sexually excited?

"Could I go into a courtroom and say, 'Viewing what you put on that screen put me in danger of hellfire'?

"Could the court say, 'That doesn't apply here because the right to [produce] porn overrides your right to [not] watch it'?

"Yeah, well, you didn't tell me I was gonna watch it! You just brought it into my living room. You didn't tell me there were gonna be crotch shots! That's discriminatory against the value I have in my house. You can't just do that.

"I wanna sue them for about $867 trillion."

That little tidbit at the end is utterly bizarre. How in the hell (sorry Dave) would anyone, anywhere legally target anything on this planet for that amount of money.

While you might think it's just some ramblings of a bloke with nothing better to do, it seems like he's pretty serious about the threat.

He's posted a new video onto social media that he's looking for anyone to represent him to file a class action.

Again speaking to his followers, Dave said: "I viewed some stuff today, I saw a lot of crotch shots from last night's Super Bowl, I'm serious as a judge here, I'm looking for a lawyer to file a class action lawsuit against Pepsi, the NFL, my local cable company for pandering pornography, contributing to the delinquency of a minor."

It'll be interesting to see whether anyone takes him up on his offer.
