Watch the terrifying moment a cyclist crossed a four-lane motorway without wearing a helmet - after a driver who was forced to slow down to avoid hitting the cyclist captured the footage on her dashcam and shared the clip.
The incident took place at junction 25 for Bredbury, on the M60 circular that surrounds much of Greater Manchester.

As the footage clearly shows, the cyclist was travelling without a helmet as they cross towards the slip road, and they even look like they wave to the traffic behind them as if to say thank you for letting them through.
A potentially killer crossing, junction 25 is particularly unique in that it is one of the few junctions in the UK where traffic enters the motorway into the outside lane, containing the fastest traffic.
The fact the cyclist was crossing the motorway at all was dangerous, never mind this particular stretch of course.
The unfortunate driver forced to slam on her brakes to avoid ploughing into the cyclist was Louise Kay, who was driving back from Stockport to her home in Audenshaw.

Louise said: "It was just unbelievable, there's no other word for it. It made my blood run cold.
"I could see her out of the corner of my eye so started to slow down.
"And she just waved at me and carried on riding right in front of me. She honestly must have had a death wish.
The driver added: "I shouted at her but she had her headphones in and was just completely oblivious.

"She can't have not seen the signs and got confused as there's one up on Bredbury roundabout and another on the slip road itself and it's a good old run down to the motorway.
"Of all the places to do it as well with it going into the fast lane there."
Kay didn't end up calling the police, but did end up posting the video because she wanted to warn drivers of the potential hazards they can face.
Whether they were wearing a helmet or not, the cyclist could end up in hot water regardless. It is illegal for a cyclist to be on the motorway under Highway Code rule 253, which lists bicycles as a prohibited vehicle.
Culprits can be handed an on-the-spot fine if caught.
