Dad Gets 'Where's Wally' Tattoo On His Bum During Holiday In Thailand

When you have kids, the idea is to set a good example for them to follow in later life, to show them right from wrong and to be careful about doing stupid things, particularly when after they've had a few drinks.
Well, one dad has really taken parenting to the next level after he had the tattoo of his son's favourite literary character tattooed on his ar** while on a night out in Thailand. Awww.
Chris Wright, from Manchester, was on holiday with his mates on the Phi Phi islands when he was left behind during a boat cruise.
Naturally, he headed straight to the nearest tattoo parlour and had Wally, from the famous Where's Wally series, inked on his ar** - crawling out of his crack no less.
During the drunken episode, the 34-year-old took time to send a message to his little ones back home.
Looking straight down the barrel of the camera in a video of the procedure, he said: "When you grow up you'll understand, kids."
Looking back at the hilarious incident, Chris admitted that he doesn't remember how much it cost and only 'vaguely remembers googling the tattoo' for the artist.
He said: "I was drunk. I've always wanted a Where's Wally tattoo because my kids love reading the book - as stressful as it is for me!
"I didn't even know I had the tattoo until my friend pointed it out. But I remembered the night time book with Dexter, my eldest, was Where's Wally."
The tattoo appears to have been done using a traditional stick and poke method. Chris took it all in his stride, not flinching one bit despite the rather tender area he chose to have the tat.
The design shows the famous children's character struggling to climb out of Mr Wright's crevice, with tears falling down his face. Well, you would be crying, wouldn't you?
Talking to the camera during the procedure, Chris says: "When you grow up you'll understand, kids, you'll understand. Where's Wally? And why is your dad such a d***head?"
But Chris wasn't too drunk to realise that his own mother probably wouldn't be too impressed with his life choices, joking: "I'll ring my mum tomorrow and tell her I've got another transfer."
You will probably not be surprised to also learn that this isn't Chris's first tattoo. During another holiday a few years ago, he chose to get a 'camel tattoo' on his toe while in Ibiza.
