Darth Vader led the tributes at Brenda Morris's funeral, leading the hearse flanked by stormtroopers.
The former chemistry lecturer sadly passed away at the age of 78.
She was hoping to leave her body to science, but when she discovered this wasn't possible, she instead drew inspiration from a galaxy far, far away for her funeral service.

The Redditch grandmother - who appeared on The X Factor in 2010 as well as Britain's Got Talent - wasn't up for a traditional funeral procession.
Mark Thomas took the part of Darth Vader and is one of the funeral directors from Thomas Brothers.
He told Redditch Standard: "She decided when the time came that she wanted us to dress up as Star Wars characters.

"I personally knew Brenda.
"She had such a huge personality and was a big part of the community in Astwood Bank.
"We bought the costumes through the internet and did a dress rehearsal so we got everything right."

Mark added: "I know it may sound strange, but I watched some clips of Darth Vader just to make sure I got everything right.
"The lads stood around the coffin dressed as stormtroopers while I was by the celebrant.
"It was quite a spectacle.
"She wanted to go fast down the highway to the crematorium, and although we stuck to the speed limit we were there in about two minutes."

The local community also attended the funeral, and despite trying to keep the service under wraps more than 100 people turned up to pay tribute.

As for more personalised funeral processions, a teenager who loved McDonald's had his funeral processions passed through his local drive-thru in 2019.

Joshua's procession also parked up in the Maccies car park to allow family and friends to release balloons and funeral-goers returned to the restaurant after the ceremony for the wake.
