Deaf Man Sues Pornhub Claiming There Is A Lack Of Closed Captioning

In court documents cited by TMZ, Suris makes claims that the deaf and hard of hearing are unable to understand the audio portion of some videos listed on Pornhub.

Suris then lists a number of videos that he tried to watch, but was unable to understand, including Hot Step Aunt Babysits Disobedient Nephew, Sexy Cop Gets Witness to Talk and Daddy 4K - Allison comes to Talk About Money to Her Boys' Naughty Father.

The plaintiff continued to say that he would be more than happy to pay extra for the premium service, but obviously doesn't feel it would be a worthwhile upgrade in its current condition, given the supposed lack of closed captioning.

Pornhub has since released a statement to say that it does offer a 'closed captions category'.

Corey Price, Pornhub's Vice President, told TMZ: "We understand that Yaroslav Suris is suing Pornhub for claiming we've denied the deaf and hearing impaired access to our videos.

"While we do not generally comment on active lawsuits, we'd like to take this opportunity to point out that we do have a closed captions category."

Despite the current legal issues with Suris, the porn service ended last year on a high, with its annual Year in Review showing that there were a whopping 42 billion visits to Pornhub in 2019, and an average of 115 million visits per day.

There was also more than 6.83 million new videos uploaded throughout the year - that's 1.36 million hours of new content, which is the equivalent of 169 years, meaning if you started watching back in 1850 you'd still be watching them today.

The most searched-for terms, meanwhile, were Japanese, Hentai, Lesbian, Milf, Korean, Asian, Step mom, Massage, Anal, Ebony, Big Ass, Teen, Threesome, Anime, Public, Creampie, Big Tits, Chinese, Gang bang, Latina, Cartoon, Indian, BBC, Joi and Squirt.

People are lasting longer this year, too, as 2019 saw Pornhub's average visit duration grow by 15 seconds to 10 minutes and 28 seconds. Way to go, everyone.
